alright for example squat. i take like mayby 1-2 seconds to go down and mayby 2-3 seconds to go up. is that fine or should i go slower?

Yeh thats so as hell!
Unless those 2-3 seconds are pushing your limits in terms of weight.

welll im doing 5 sets of squat so the weight (for me) is really heavy. so it takes a while to go up. but going down i just kind of drop.
