This stuff is awesome...
3 cups water
1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts (filberts) http://www.nutsonline.com/nuts/hazelnuts/roasted.html
1/4 cup brown rice syrup
1/8 cup (or less) brown sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
3 tsp cassava (tapioca) flour
Put it all in a blender and blend for a couple minutes or until all the nuts are disintegrated. Serve chilled.
Approximately 180 cals per cup, 3g protein, about 45g fat.
Really doesn't taste like milk, but it's very good to just drink. Would probably be o.k. as a milk substitute in shakes.
