View Full Version : Pics from my RESULTS cut!

Ok, I promised pics and here they are. I think anyone who has known me over the years and seen my pics and videos will realize this is the leanest I have been in a LONG time.

I lost about 20 lbs of body fat in roughly a month. What blows my mind, and I mean that sincerely, is that I did not lose lean muscle and I actually GAINED strength! I attribute this fact 100% to RESULTS. I also used my usual Thermocin or Nitor, Fish Oil, Creatine 500, and ETS during the period (the only difference from the norm was the addition of RESULTS).

1st pic, relaxed:

2nd pic, arms out:

My raw deadlift (no belt etc.) is around 700 lbs.

I don't bench due to a shoulder problem. I can dip with body weight plus 200 lbs for a couple of reps.

My best box squat to just below parallel is in the 475 lbs range without knee wraps or a belt.

Lol, you don't want to know! I was 196 lbs the other day at the gym. I haven't weighed under 200 lbs since I was 19! Then again, I haven't been this lean either!

I can row with 405 lbs +.

I am not sure on the chins. I can do about 27 with body weight and 10 or so with a 45 lbs plate. I have just gotten back to weighted chins as of late.

Nice work Chris. Not to be repetitive, but your lats look insane!

If you don't mind me asking, what diet/cardio/lifting schedule did you use for your cut?

A cyclical diet? Keto type diet?

chris mason

Thanks very much! A guy on another site (www.johnstonefitness.com) asked me about my diet and here is our PM conversation:

4-6 AtLarge Thermocin capsules

Lunch Daily:
3 scoops of Nitrean mixed in water

Dinner:
This varies from day to day. I eat a small portion dinner totalling roughly 500-800 calories plus 6 oz. of orange juice.

Pre-Bed Daily:
8 capsules of AtLarge's ETS
12-15g of AtLarge's Fish Oil
2 scoops of Nitrean mixed in water

This is the most recent version of my daily routine. I was consuming more calories in the first week or two of the diet.

I do a full body routine on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday with roughly 20 minutes of cardio after each session with the weights. The cardio is of a high intensity level.

I also do one other cardio session per week time permitting.

I also asked when he typically lifted, and also if anything was done differently diet-wise on training days:

Yes, on training days I would consume 1 serving of Opticen in lieu of my usual Nitrean lunch and I would do so PWO.

Here is a bit about my training from another site:

timbermiko wrote:
Looks good Chris,

What's your training like?

3 days per week whole body routines.

I use a conjugate variation and fairly low volume.

I train heavy deads once per week varying styles (partials, from the floor, stiffs, etc.).

I train heavy legs once per week varying from box squats to leg presses and extensions. I do some hip work on other days.

For chest I alternate between dumbbell inclines and weighted dips.

For shoulders I do dumbbell presses, various raises, and other stuff.

I train my chest directly twice per week. Upper back is trained 3 times per week. Arms 2-3 times per week. Upper legs get hit 2-3 times between the deads and squats and other exercises.

The lats speak for themselves :omg: but I never thought I would see you as lean as you are now.

When I think Chris Mason I think ALN and your bulky frame!

Now i'm a bit confused

Congrats you must have worked extremely hard to change your build. Saying that you do have the benefit of using these *new* ALN supplements before anyone else gets their hands on them.

May I ask how tall you're Chris? you just look massive.
Also, were you always a genetic freak especially your lats?

You should get an Inzer Fusion or Metal Deadlifter and enter a deadlift meet @198. A 700+ pull @198 is very impressive.

I didn't see this until just now. Nice work, Chris. I'm a little incredulous about the 20-lb loss in a month, but I imagine a certain amount of this was water-weight - I know my "cut" weight and my "bulk" weight differ by more than just fat and muscle.

You were natural for this cut. You did run at least one cycle that I read of here a while back - did you feel your current supplement regime gave you as much as your cycle did back then? And how has your diet and training changed since that time?

My dabbling was when I was about 20. I don't feel that the supplements worked as well as anabolics. If compelled to provide a percentage I would say 50% as well...

My diet was "looser" in the sense I ate what I wanted for dinner, just in low quantity.

In terms of training, I did full body training plus cardo 3X per week this time and I did split routines when I was young.

The frequent hits approach does indeed work better in this regard, of this I have no doubt.

I'm into my first *ahem* "assisted" cut at the moment - bioidentical HRT, I mentioned it on here a while back. I'll be interested to see how differently my body reacts now that I'm getting a little help.

It will react differnently for sure. You will retain more muscle and burn more fat. It is as simple as that.

Oh sure, of course - but I've managed fairly well in this regard before and I'm not getting MUCH help. If I manage supraphysiological, it won't be by much. What I'm interested to see is if it affects the distribution of fat loss at all.

So interesting!

Do you have any before pictures right before you went on Results?

The pics in this interview are pretty much how I looked. I don't have any that were actually taken right before. You can also watch my rack deadlift video to get an idea.

http://www.criticalbench.com/Chris-Mason.htm

Oh, and to be clear, RESULTS helped me to add some lean muscle tissue while in a hypo-caloric state, it isn't a fat burner. It adds lean muscle and strength like nothing else I have ever used in terms of supplements.
