Why not just forget all the numbers

Eat 6 meals a day, all high protein and work your carbs around your workout and first thing in the morning.

Get rid of the fast food (cheeseburgers) and make your own using lean mince with some onion and an eggwhite.

No ice cream either

Stop wqsting your time counting. Yopur missing valuable time stuffing food in your face. Eat anything and everything you want. When you get full, keep eating. You should stuff yourself 4-5 times per day. If you ever get hungry, you're not eating enough.

And, don't go crazy with the protein. Keep it around 150g. Jack your carbs way up. Carbs are protein sparing. If your carbs are high, your body doesn't need as much protein to build muscle. Keep the carbs way up. Also, make sure to get some fat. 1g of fat is 9 calories as compared to 1g of protein/carb being 4 calories.

Really, eat everything and anything you can. If you still enjoy eating after 2-3 days, you're still not eating enough. Check out my incredible interview and listen to the weight gain tips.

If you were eating 4800 calories @ 132lbs, not only would you be gaining weight, but you'd be putting on a tremendous amount of fat. I suggest you re-evaluate what you're actually eating.

about the whole carbs and protein thing, not to get technical but i have a very good book on nutrition for sports, and they recommend a HUGE amount of carbs for weightlifters, around 6-700 a day with protein at your body weight.

Have to agree.

I trained a guy that was 130 and he didn't gain until he was closer to 6000 calories. He was hyper-thyroid.

EAT SON!!!!

Dude he's trying to GAIN weight. It's not that hard... the trick is JUST EAT MORE. You'll know you're doing it right if you spend most of the day being thoroughly uncomfortable because you're so full.

I'd definitely tone it down. Unless you have an actual condition like mentioned, almost 5000 calories at your weight is gonna make you blow up like the dough boy.

Guys, I don't think that is the diet he is currently on. He said from now on that was the diet he was going to stick with. If he was already on it and not gaining weight he wouldn't be sticking with it.

If you are 132 lbs and not gaining weight its because you're not eating enough, guaranteed. I'll bet you aren't consuming more than 2000 calories a day if you actually figured it out. I started at 132 myself and gained 20lbs on a 2800-3500 progressive diet. I was working out consistently too. I figured when I was at 132 I was only taking in about 1800 calories on a good day. 5000 calories for someone of your weight is a ton of calories and not very reasonable considering you can and will gain weight on a much smaller plan. Eat consistently 5 or 6 times a day and workout a minimum of 3 days a week consisting of compound lifts (bench, deadlift, squat...) and you will put on size.
