does it matter if during the day i dont eat for maybe 4-5 hrs sometimes? I always can get the amount of calories i set out for in the day, but some days like today for example, i ate at 4, then i lifted and played basketball and i was at the rec center and didnt eat again until 9...So my question is does it matter if i am taking long periods of time not eating like this, or does it not really matter as long as i'm hitting my macros for the day?

Not everyone can eat on a schedule. I wouldn't see anything wrong with this... I do the same thing...

I would try and eat a protien bar or get in a protien shake between lifting and BBall. Your body burns up all your APT leaves (energy) and starts to eat muscle for fuel, so having a shake or bar will help you fuel your body and save your hard earned muslce!
