For those of you who have tried/used these types of diets. Did you find that when you got off of them and starting eating carbs again that you 'blew' up and gained a bunch of water weight?

you can expect to put on anywhere from 3 to 15 lbs of water weight/glycogen if you go back to eating a high carb diet

If you limit it somewhat you will not bloat up

If so, I don't see the point in the CKD diets. Most of the weight lost is just water weight...?

no, you need to calculate your weight loss from after the first 7-14 days of ketosis. You will lose your glycogen-water wieght quite fast and then you'll start reducing slowly

the easiest way i've found is to chart your weight
"disreguard" the first 10 lbs or so- the weight you lose the first week/
