What do you guys think of these things, they usually go between $1.00 - $1.50

They have a pretty good selection and usually are anywhere between 2-6 G's of Fat and between 200-300 calories. What do you guys think about eating this stuff on a regular basis because it's easy and quick. They usually have a decent amount of protein as well. The only thing I can think of is the high sodium content.

Let me know

I think that is your diet is going to include, or that you might rely on frozen dinners from time to time as opposed to cooking your own food, you might as well just pick up a fresh made pizza or get fast food that has more caloric bang for your buck.

How is a pizza anywhere near to 8g's of fat 300 calories & 10g of protein. Pizza would be a lot worse for you. If you have no idea what they are or what is in them you should not comment on them acting as if they are a Hungry MAN dinner

Ok yeah, b/c something that has fat is bad for you.

I am going to stand by what I said.

Make your own food or go get something that is going to actually taste good.

(unless you are female and actually want to limit a meal to 200-300 calories)

Other than caloric amount, tell me how these are much different from a hungry man frozen meal.

Explain to me how Michelina's has 8g fat (for that particlar meal) yet contains no calories from fat....

And then tell me why you would choose that, and then we will go from there.

sure eat them. From what I can remember a lot of them are pasta dishes so why not take one and add a chicken breast to it, or cut up some fresh vegetables and mix them in.

I don't understand why people think pizza is bad for you. It's got carbs, fat, and usually a decent amount of protein for the amount of calories it is.

Eat pizza and you'll look like pizza :)

"people say i eat too many chocolate bars and that I don't wash my face. I've tried everything and nothing works..."

In all seriousness though, eating pizza is not the end of the world. There are obviously better choices, whole wheat crust, chicken instead of pepperoni etc. But at the end of the day as long as your diet has variety and you aren't super-duper hardcore it's no big deal.

Then again half my food comes out of a can atm...pizza would probably be an upgrade for me!

And......?

Is there a particular reason you are limiting fat?

Look people, Hungry Man was an example...and it wasn't even used by me.

Eating multple Michelina whoever meals each day in order to get calories is no different than eating a healthy choice meal, hungry man, or whatever.

Eat a couple of meals and guess what...you magically have the same calorie and sodium content of a larger frozen meal such as Hungry Man.

Like I said, you might as well go order a fresh made pizza.

If you are examining the content of a processed frozen meal that has been sitting in a freezer case for who knows how long, in order to micro-manage you diet for a particular result.....then you better be cooking your own damn food.

Obviously Slim has no idea what he's talking about. Just look at him. Fat slob, definitely from all the pizza!

Seems like a waste to spend $1 on 160 calories... I've bought pizza bagels with better nutrition than lean gourmet at a cheaper/unit price.

Edit: I think drinking 1% milk might even be a cheap alternative as well.. just drink 12oz and you're good to go. In fact, it actually has less fat than lean gourmet.
