Canfit Pro Course

I'm not sure where the majority of hte forum users here are located...But I'm from Canada (Ontario) and planning on taking canfit to get certified as a trainer. I was wondering how many people here have taken the course? Id like to know what to expect...:read:

I'm not from Canada so I have no idea what its like.

I was ISSA certified, it was a complete joke.

I'm now a CSCS and it was a complete pain in the butt, but worth it.

Ooohh so there's a couple people certified with them, My only background in the fitness industry is my own personal experience in the gym. I'm totally psyched to make this a profession of mine! However I find alot of the trainers have some sort of other background...like boxing, some sort sport etc.

How important is it for me to take on something on the side as well to have that under my belt? Like boxing, dancing etc?

I'm canfit pro certified as well. You won't need the other certifications like boxing etc for a bit, but if you want to stay in the industry it will do you well to continue to expand your skills. Plus it will depend on what areas you want to focus on with your clients. If you want sports specific clients then you'll need other things under your belt.
