I might have missed this type of tread, (only been on the board for 3 weeks or so)... if so My Bad!

So what are your goals in the Gym/Platform/Outside of the gym?

On The Platform:
Bench 600+lbs at 165 (stay tuned for "THE DROP")
Bench 650+ at 181
Compete in 4-5 Meets!

In the Gym:
2BRD 675x1 (14 - 45lb Plates!!)
3BRD 700x1 or at least hold it!

Outside of the Gym:
Pay off my car!
Find a new Job!
Spend more time with my Sweetheart and Son!
Refinance My House!

So what are your 2008 Goals!?!

Get total to 1200... (will require 200lb increase!)

Finish bulk to 220 and cut to 200 @ 8-10% BF

have a winning rugby season for senior year

get into law school (ideally with a scholarship):read:

1) Cut down to 200
2) Deadlift 500

Outside the gym
I have alot of things I have to fix in my life after what happened last year. One day and one step at a time right now.

squat 400, bench 300, deadlift 400.

We'll see how it goes. I'll be training my ass off, that's for sure.

In comp, I really want to hit 750+ this year in my shirt at 242lbs

In the gym, it'd be sweet to get past the 515 mark that has kept me stuck for awhile.

Outside the gym, get half my masters degree done

Compete in my first meet, get some experience

In the Gym:
220lb bodyweight
500 squat
500 dead
300 bench

Outside of the Gym:
get my **** together
make money
buy a truck

Add another addition to our family
Be a better father and husband
Place top 3 in a LW Pro Strongman show this year.
Total over 2000

-Squat 700 in Ace Briefs then buy a suit
-Bench 500+ in my F6 then move on to a multiply shirt
-Get my deadlift moving consistently again

-Get my ass down to an SSA meet and finally compete

-Work towards finishing my degree
-Figure out where I want to go to firefighting college

In Life:
Graduate in may and get a good paying job, maybe get a new vehicle after that... Be a better Dad and Husband and spend more time with those I Love... Grow in my relationship with Christ.

I hate posting numbers up, the minute you do its like you put presure on yourself you don't really need. And for me I truly believe and have proved despite all my training that come meet days I just show up and let the talent and gifts God built in me do their job to make Him smile. That being said What I want to shoot for, God willing, is 1000 sqt 800 bp 700 dl at 242 His will never Mine ....

CT dude, your goals are too low..I know you can hit 850 on bench....:)

My goals:

800 squat
500 bench
600 dead

at 275..God willing those will go down in May if I am healthy and if not then hopefully at the Pro-Am in August...

A new goal as of yesterday, I strained a hammy so I just want to heal in time to compete in May. Thanks to my buddy Chris Taylor's help, I think this thing will heal at least in time for the August meet.

315x1 Squat (maybe 365)

cut to lower bodyfat, learn how to get angry when i lift.. maybe hang out witha coach or two to get best form i can.

outside gym:
1.5miles in 10:30
get solid job
solid girlfriend, no more **** &chuck.
buy a VW GTI vr6/1.8t
fix sweat problem, as well as social anxiety.
pick up girls on beach!

Going to be graduating in May with AAS in Physical therapist assistant..
Almost done with lecture portion just gotta do 12 weeks fulltime clinical rotation and im out,, yippeeee...

Bench 405x1, 315x6 raw
Squat 455x1, 405x6 raw
Deadlift 455x1, 405x6 raw

Finish current cut to 198, bulk using Doggcrapp to 220 and stay lean. Hopefully add 1-2 inches to all measurements.

Graduate with second degree and start work, still find time to be as dedicated as I am now after starting work

Get raw squat back to 450 post-injury PR then get back in the suit, squat 550-600 in suit.
Bench 500 shirted.
DL 600.
Compete in 3-4 meets in 198 and 220 class.
Help wife hit 225 raw squat, 135 raw bench, and 365 raw DL, then get her in a suit and shirt!

here are my 2008 goals...

Life :
Not very many life goals haha... just live life and have fun. I'm in high school for heaven's sake.

Sports :
Acheive all-state honors as offensive or defensive lineman. (really stretching it) If not, all-district.
Have our football team finish at least 8-2 and win the state championship (state champ is pushin it, but anything can happen :))

Weights :
Get to a cut and lean 200 pounds
Bench 320
Squat 375
Deadlift 415
Power Clean 255

yup yup... i'll do my best :thumbup:
