Well, I don't know how I managed to do it, but I've put on 30+ lbs in the past 4.5 months. Suprisingly, the fat gain hasn't been a whole lot, and I'm able to fit in all my pants, although they're a little tighter, and I still look decent, at least to myself, in the mirror. But most importantly, I'm happy with all the strength gains that I've gotten.

Being that I've always been a skinny guy, this will be my first time cutting. Although I still have some time left to bulk, I was wondering, how do I go about cutting? I'm taking in around 4800 calories a day right now, how much would I cut down to when I've started cutting? And how often would I reduce my caloric intake?

Would I be able to start cutting at just below 3000, or is this too low initially? Honestly, I don't know how much longer I can maintain eating over 3500 calories a day. It was easy at first, but now its just getting tough.

if your taking in 4800 now, going to even 3500 would be too much of a shock IMHO. youve worked hard for the gains youve made, no need to let them slip away with drastic dieting

start at roughly 4300 and stay there for a week, note what happens to your bodyweight and composition, adjust in increments of 250-500 as needed to keep the weight coming off at 1-2lbs per week.

Seems like a good plan, and honestly, I really tip my cap to guys who bulk up for long long periods, I don't know how they do it.

One other thing, would be able to get away without doing cardio early on in the cut? Because theres no way I can run on a full stomach, which I usually have when I'm eating more than 3500 calories a day...

If you haven't gained any noticable fat, why are you going on a cut?

Just curious, I plan to keep bulking until I can't stand it anymore, or it gets difficult just to eat enough with my schedule.

You'll probably lose weight pretty easily for the first month or so, I usually don't have to start adding cardio until I am around 12% bf. Good luck! Go slow, and enjoy! Good gains, sounds like. Mine was like this over the past ~2 years (6 ft tall):

150 lb ----> 202 lbs (took like a year)
202 lb ----> 184 lbs (3-4 month cut)
184 lb ----> 222 lbs (my last bulk, from August to January 07)
222 lb ----> 198 lbs (in my cut right now, probably need to lose ~6-8 more)
