Hi everyone,

I bought a 908g tub of Body Fortress Whey Protein last two Tuesdays ago. I've been sharing it with my brother and we've nearly finished it between us. We both have 1 scoop each on an off day, and 2 scoops after the gym. It's not lasted as long as I hoped and it's actually quite expensive. But that's because we're sharing.

Is the body fortress stuff any good? I really like the flavour - Strawberry - but would like to hear some opinions on the products itself. Perhaps I should try a different brand?

I use Optimum Whey, Dymatize Elite Whey, and have used Nitrean in the past, all are good. I would try to find good deals on the Optimum, usually the best prices available.

EAS 100% whey is cheap and great quality. If you're looking for a flavour go with chocolate.

What about Nitrean? At Large Nutrition have a 4.6lbs tub for the same price of the 2.2lbs tub of Body Fortress stuff I have. The postage will probably be a lot though - I'm from the UK.

Nitrean seems to be the favourite! Does anyone know how much it costs to ship it to the UK?

$47.95 and I think they do. Just see while you checkout if they accept your address.

Thanks!

Actually, I was just doing some research and read that protein works much better when mixed with carbs. Apparently carbs do with actual building:

Carbs do the actual building....
... Protein has been shown to have more effect when combined with Carbohydrates.

Are there products out there which combine both? I think that may be a better option rather than just the whey protein on it's own.
