I dont like sweet potatoes. I am staring at my plate and I cant eat the damn thing, its nasty.
I like brown rice, I avoid bread because it's my binge trigger.
Other than fruits and veggies, what else can I eat to get me some good high quality carbs?
This yam thing is going in the trash!

Yams are pretty horrible. I'll second oats though.

I friggin' LOVE sweet potatoes. Especially with salt, butter and ... wait for it ... peach jam.
(I THINK I got that off Hatred, but I'm not sure)

I wish I could love them, but I just cant. I really did try.
Yes to whole wheat pasta! I like to make it with ground turkey with lots of spices and some light tomato sauce.

I also hate sweet potatoes. On a cut I just eat oats mixed with Natty PB, brown rice with butter, and whole grain pasta.

butternut squash is pretty nice all mashed up with butter
Yams are awesome! I like em baked in the oven as chips.
I've also had them baked whole with the skin on in the oven topped with maple syrup/cinnamon butter. The latter is a bit of a cheat version, but oh so good! :drooling:

I would agree with the tuna and chicken. But oats have about 103 grams of carbs per cup according to fitday.
