My last set of squats today in suit bottoms, knee wraps and a belt. I did 455lbs, 465lbs and this 475lbs all for 3's:

Sorry about the sideways video!!! I don't know how to change it and my girlfriend always records them sideways for some reason....

Thanks everyone! I'm going to go for 485 for three next weekend then I think the week after that I get to put the straps up and go for an opener.

Wow, dude. You are one strong guy. That first rep looked a lot deeper than it needed to be (in my unprofessional opinion).

Thank man! They felt good. If I were doing triples in contest I'd say that was an opener :ninja:

Thanks! The big guy spotting on the far side is a referee (judge? whatever you call it) and he was the one calling my depth. I may have dipped a little after he said up.

Nice! Looked smooth throughout.

Tell your GF to turn it rightside up, though. It's a VIDEO camera.

Impressive squat Deeder. Too bad no sound to hear the metal skillets rattle. It's music to my ears. May I ask what shoes you're wearing and possibly a link? Need to replace my Wally World Converse knockoffs.

good stuff! You look like you could have had that for five.
You can fix the sidewayness in Windows Movie Maker :)

Thanks big guy! They were just right for training. I'll cut them a tiny bit higher in contest. I compete IPF though so we've gotta bury 'em.

Yeah I'm not very good at the whole video editing/compressing deal... I've just been using VLC to compress videos and I can't figure out how to get sound with them :( The shoes are just basic squat shoes, they are the ONLY way to go if you have a narrow or medium stance. Wide stance you need something flat like the chucks.

I got mine from: http://www.weightliftingshoes.ca/

The guy is out of Winnipeg and he's GREAT. You send in your feet measurements and a trace of your feet and if he can't decide which size will fit you best (they are European sizes) he'll send you two pairs as long as you agree to send back the ones that you don't want.

The last one was a little slower than I like them but I also think I just lost tightness at the bottom. I'm still 4 weeks away from Nationals so it's good that all my equipped stuff is easy and fast.

As for the Windows Movie Maker... That'd be awesome except I use Linux.. So now Windows Movie Maker.. I'm sure there's some easy utility to rotate it with but I'm just really not all that interested in video editing so I can't be bothered to put the time in to it...

Real nice man!

Thanks!

Yeah no kidding, must have been a great confidence booster

You just became 100x more awesome. I don't know any Linux movie editors off the top of my head, but if you're using Ubuntu it should be easy enough to find something that'll do the trick.
