Done. Workout went a lot better then last week. I felt lighter then last week as well, I'm guessin it is from the diet since I always fell light my first 2 weeks off dieting. I did the 605 BRD sets because im having a hard time lockin out my right arm the last 1/2" so I thought I would get a few reps in.

I started Taking AtLarge Supps, Results along with ETS. I will keep everyone posted on what I noticed from these two Supps!

damn your strong man! and DAMN big for 180 lbs! damn my neck is like 18.5-19 and my arms are 16.5 and im almost 240!

Thanks Brother, you got to remember Im 23 y/o and Have been lifting Super Hard for 9 Year Now! I personaly never thought I would been this strong or close to benching 600+lbs but now I have no doubt 700 will come sometime soon! (I hope this year, it will be close) So just stick with it bro and You will get there.

i figured though arm span has allot of how one can bench, not just height, though height can determine ones weight/muscle potential
im not to tall at 5'8" but i have a long arm span 72" (or 6'0") which makes my range of motion further on the bench, but helps with deadlifts.

for 23 years old your lifts kick ass, any squatting or deadlifting?

I squated and deadlifted until I has just turned 18 y/o. But on April 2, 2002 I was hit by a Ford F-150 doing 60mph while I was walking. So I am unable to do those type of exercises anymore. My best DL was 462@148 at the '01 WABDL World Deadlift Championships. I cant remember what I Squat in my last meet.

I did squat last winter for 10 week, I hit 485x10 My last week of Squating. My Back just hurt so badly that it was not worth it to me anymore.

lil note, After i was hit by the truck the Doc's said the only season I had a bad back was from lifting and that the truck that hit me had nothing to do with it. I only won $11,000 and am unable to SQ, DL, Run, Hike... Ect. So DONT get hit by a truck while walking if your a lifter!! lol I got screwed BIG TIME

Done ~ Workout went Great! I was happy to get the 565, this was my first solid rep since my last comp in Dec. The BRD sets went well, I am tryin to get more reps in to work on my lockout. I felt better this week and didnt have any problems with my right arm locking out!

Well to start this off I have always Dreamed of Benching 600+ at 165lbs. This will put me in the All-Time Top 5 in the History of the World in the 165lbs Bench Class!

I will be Posting this in both my Training Log and on the here, the Powerlifting Forum. Im doing this because I want the Powerlifters to see the Results from dropping 25lbs and how it effects with my strength, Power and Size.

Now I have been Dieting since 2/7/08. So My Body Has changed over this time frame already. As of 3/15 I will be taking it to the next level and not having the junk days and keeping the diet Super Clean. As of Now Im around 190lbs, looking to drop 12-15lbs and then drop the rest in water weight like I normal.

As of 3/15th this is what my diet will Look like!

Meal 1
1 Scoop Nitrean in 2% Milk
4 Caps ETS
1 Cap Fish Oil
1 Vit.
Nitor - I will be working up to 3 caps over time.

Meal 2
8oz Chicken
6oz Yogurt

Meal 3
1 1/2 Cups Cottage Cheese 1%
1 Cup Apple Sauce
1 Cap Fish Oil
1 Vit.
Nitor

Meal 4 or 5 - depends on when I workout
8oz Chicken
6oz Yogurt

Results - 1 Hour Before I workout!

Meal 5 or 4!
1 Scoop Nitrean in 2% Milk

Meal 6
1 1/2 Cups Cottage Cheese 1%
1 Cup Apple Sauce
1 Cap Fish Oil
1 Vit.

This would be my Base Day around 40g Carbs at each Food Meal. From here I will start adding in Low Carb day, around 20g at each Food Meal. Once or Twice a week I will have a High Carb Day, around 60g of carbs at each Food Meal.

I will be posting Updates often! This Log will include Weekly Pics, BW, Diets, Vids, How I'm feeling, and my training log! I will Post my start Pics this coming weekend (they will be taken on 3/14).

Well Tonight is it, Starting Tomorrow the Count Down to 165lb Begins. I will post pics up By Monday. Would have had them up today but Im having some Relationship Problems.... So I did have anyone to take the Pics! oh well, I have a Buddy come over tomorrow after I get out of work!

I will weigh in every Tuesday, but I check myself today and was 188lbs. a little lighter them this past week... couldnt eat all that much...

You're a beast! How do you like the RageX? I've used the Inzer EHDHP and the Titan Fury in the past, but both are kind of big on me now so I'm looking for something new.

I've always liked my Inzer shirt more because it was more tolerant of my elbows out bench stroke. When I switched to the Fury I had to change my form a lot and really work on tucking my elbows and pressing towards my feet.

I have only DL twice in the past year, once last summer where I hit 500x1 Conv. and 500x3 Sumo. It felt nice to DL again, but my lower back got really tight and I had to call it a day for the most part after that...

I think that the RageX is the Best Bench Shirt Out. Once you learn the shirt Your bench Will take off! I have never gotten more out of a shirt until I started wearing a RageX!

I woke up and hit the Bathroom and weighed in... I was 185lbs. I understand that Im a lot lighter right now do to my Relationship problems... But I still feel crazy strong so we will have to see what tonight Brings!

Biceps Messured 18 3/16th! Thats the Biggest its Ever Been. Even when I was 193lbs.

Diet looked like this:
Sat - Med. - Low Carb Day
Sun - Med Carb Day
Mon - High Carb Day w/ to meals out! Love Steak! :evillaugh:
Tuesday - will be a Med-High Carb Day. I do this to give me some extra Energy for the BIG lifts!

I was a great squatter and deadlifter too (320 squat and 325 dead @121 and 405 squat and 420 dead @140ish) and then my back and hamstrings started hurting so i checked it out and found out i had 2 bulging disks, a fracture, chips of my lumbars, minor scoliosis, spondylosis and my hamstring nerves going down my back where poking out at the spondylosis gap causing shock pains in my hamstrings...basically it sucked. doc said i wouldn't be able to walk in 10 years if i kept squating and deadlifting lifting so heavily. i did physical therapy for a few months and now i don't have any more pain and just bench like you :thumbup:.

Tried out the New Results Orange Blast! Smelt funny, I was not looking forward to tasting it, but was very impressed with the taste!

Nitor - I have been taking 1 or 2 Capsa before meals 1 and 3. I like the energy I get from them!

Over all Im feeling strong! I feel leaner just after the one week of diet! My stomic looks much better in the mirror then from last weeks pics. the New Pics will be posted monday night! (since thats Pic Day)

I wasnt able to train Back this week, I was a Busy Man. Worked sat-monday, Clients Monday night, Benched tuesday, Bought a H3 Wednesday and work Construsion thursday and friday and both nights I had to train my personal Clients. then I works sat, and today.

I would guess my bw is around 182-183. and I double checked my arm size 18 3/16th (cold, when i first woke up)

got up this morning at 9:30am!! SWEET! My Body Weight was 182.5lbs. My goal for next week is to be 183lbs. I'm losing BW to fast, its not because of my diet but for other reasons.

I am feeling Strong and am washin the bench shirt right now, when 530pm come around its gonna be game time!

thats why i dont squat/deadlift heavy, can hurt your lower back

I know it is a little late to comment on this, but was re-reading this post and it stuck out to me this time. To not squat or deadlift because of the risk of injury seems flawed to me. One is as susceptible to injuries doing a bench press just as much as doing these lifts. Being that you are younger it seems to me to be an excuse not to squat or dead heavy because of how tough it is. I might be wrong, but I think this is a bad attitude to take. As I said before in another post you are a strong kid and keep it up, but just keep this in mind.

To get back to the topic though, BPM continue to be looking awesome and keep after it!

Well Bro, I think my Suit is from the early 90's... But if I run by another one I'll send it your way! lol The Suit really helps cute weight, I have two to three layers on under the suit and all I can say is it sucks!

Had Surgery on my Gums in the Front of My Mouth... I will be drinking a few Extra Shake the next Few Days instead of eatting Solid foods. I cant eat soft food products but its hard to chew and it takes for ever!!! lol

Skipped Speed Bench Day Due to this.

Well My Body is going crazy not having my normal food like chicken and steak. so I eat anything soft and easy to chew. I'm not looking to eat less, I need to feed my muscle, so I rather eat extra foods now and have a few extra low carb days when i can eat!

I Dont Dl due to my Back Injury and Hip Problems. I like to DL here and there to see if Im still strong Enough to hit 5 Bills or not.

Normal Back workout looks like:
Pull-Ups 3x10 - More of a Warm-Up!
T-Bar Rows 5-6 Sets 8-12 Reps
Maybe One Arm Rows, Depends on How my lower Back is Feeling 2x10-12 w/125 or 150's
Straigh Arm Pulldowns 4x10 - Med Weight
DB Shrugs 2-5 Sets of 10-20 Reps

Thats is what I have been doing for back over the Past 3-4 Months. Before that I only Trained Once a Week for a few months. While I was benching heavy...

My Legs are really lean. Around 25" SOLID! Calves are a little small!! lol Train them almost every weerk.

I dont train legs as of now (havent in over 9 months) I would like to but dont want to put on anymore weight (from Muscle in the Legs, unless in the Calves) until after this meet. For the most part I dont train legs at all. Once and a while I will go into the gym and squat 405x5 and then train Calve and Abs.

My Legs have never changed since I stopped Training them, they're the same size and shape.... I really want to add another 2" to them, maybe after this meet I will start training them once again.

I had surgery on the front Bottom part of my mouth. (front 4 teeth) I had a spot in my gums where the bone was gone.. There said I had either suffered a major troma to my mouth as a kid or I have a Gum Rare Gum Disease. They had to peal my gums down and saw into the area and pull out what was filling the hole and then injected something to hopefuly get the bone to regrow. After they pealed the gums back up and stitched them up and around my teeth.

I was wake for all of this.... You Should have seen my face when they pulled out the saw.... I was not impressed!

I didnt train Back this week, it puts a lot of pressure on my head (touching my toes put enough pressure on my head to make my mouth bleed..) and I want to get my mouth back to 100%....

Diet is going ok, still having a hard time eatting every 3 hours and the right foods. I know that the last three weeks i'll be able to be 100% back at it. My Body Looks Great, I feel Great, and Now I just got to lose those last 3.5lbs!! Smile!! Not Scared at all!

Being under 650 was fine, I thought it was going to feel a bit more heavy, but felt fine over all! After 600+ it seems to feel the same....

Diet went Like:
Saturday/Sunday/Monday - No Carb, High Protien. I normaly Have HIGH HIGH Carbs on Monday. I could tell the difference in my Strength big time. Tuesday i eat high carbs but it didnt seem to bring up my energy levels...? Goal for next week to GAIN 2lbs and stay at 182-183 until I cut for meet.

well went to the Neuromuscular Massage Therapist this morning like I always do. I have been having a little issue with my right pec. I had him work on it, I guess there is a chance that I have a small Muscle tare where it ties into the bicep/Shoulder. It is sore today and hurts to move... Last night I was having sharp pains in it...

I scheduled another appt. for monday to have him work on it. The Game plan will be to lift next week unless the pain doesnt go away o he tell me to take the week off....

I have my back shaved every tuesday when I get my weekly hair cut! I also Shave my upper body every tuesday... it sucks!


you gotta get in a body building show at least one time, I am sure you would do well.

I would like to do one this year, but now that my bench is getting up there with the pro level lifters I think im going to focus on benching this season!

I tried to bench 135 to see how it felt on tuesday, it didnt feel good, it was still sore and felt funny... So I have yet to hit the gym... Not sure what im going to do about the UPA Meet, I really want to go but If I could bench this Tuesdasy i would only have 9 bench works.... and I knoe that I will not be lifting 6+ Bills over the next month, so... Kinda Pissed

a friend of mine had the same occur to him at my last meet...it was at the top of his pec near the collar bone...play it smart bro...and rest up!

tendon tears are horrible bro... I hate any injury that keeps me away from lifting, so I definitely feel for you. I can't imagine how you feel being right before a big meet. Rest is good, though. BOL returning to the bench.

Don't force a meet that won't be there. There is always another meet. you don't want to not be prepared or get injured even worse.

... Well as of yesturday, I was told I have a small Tendon Tear in the top part of my right pec. It feels hot and am unable to do a pushup without pain...

So I want to play it smart and rest. I will not be competing at the WPA bench Worlds and I will be resting it up for the UPA Bench Bash for Cash. I think rest is going to be the best thing to do, I dont want to push it and have it completely Tear, Then I will need surgery.... and that would put my out for a long time. So game plan is to rest around 4 Weeks. I will still be training it just will be whatever Im able to do...

Definitely, rest up & don't compete until the pec tear is healed.

one thing that Lou turned me on to was active rest for my pecs. I had a minor pec strain last fall/early winter. It was actually the result of doing too much raw close grip benching. What we did was come in and use the 65lb dumbbells for 4 sets of 12-20 reps on my non bench days (bout twice a week) just to get blood flow back to the muscle. I actually was able to train through it using this method and keep hitting PRs on ME day and the pain eventually went away. Its definatly not the same injury as what you've sustained, but it was a thought I figured I'd pass along. Hope you heal up quick man

Looking good bro...good job on not RUSHING back! The boards are key here, go down SLOWLY as the pec heals, you remember how my rehab went, you helped me out alot with both of my pec tears, and are practicing what you preached. Your way ahead of schedule in my book brother. When I come home you should be near fully healed, lets videotape some brutal workouts in your gym and put em up for review...you down? Im going to cycle up for a big pull when I get home, and we can do one of our CRAZY arm workouts like we used to do at Gillys gym!

Hey Brother, 165 was before this Pec Issue. By the time my Strength is Back up to where it was Im going to have to try n drop it all over again. So Instead of the I want to get Massive and have fun with lifting for a while then see what damage I can do at 181lb Class!! My Body want to go up in Pounds and try to maintain it for 165 is just going to be to much work...

I also REALLY Want to try a BBing show! I get alot of E-Mails from people asking why I dont BBuild, and a lot of Comment about it, I think it would be fun and something New!!

yea but you know youll have to go on a cut to do bodybuilding. also would have to change your routine a bit. if you do decide to bb, think about competing at 165 after cutting to low bodyfat.

I know I would have to diet for that, but I wouldnt have to try and keep my strength going up at the same point.

I dont think My Training would have to change that much... The Pic is from my last heavy Bench Day, I trained 2x a week. BBing isnt always about high reps, I own 20+ BBing DVD's and had watched how they train right before a Show.. So I wouldnt worry much on the train but more on the Dieting.

If I get down to 165 for a show I would def hit the platform and see what I could put up!

Our muscles are so freaking thick (which is good for PLing) you might have to go to higher reps and just a little different training to get the seperation. You've already got the mass though haha. What about your legs? Also, talk to Sam, he's done quite a few bbing shows.

Travis Bro, Sorry for the Delay on getting back to you... My Legs are lean and if I can add an Inch or 2 then Its game on. Calves dont seem to grow but I'll hit them hard for the Next 9 months before my first show.


Well I went to work on the 6/7 and some how re injured my chest and shoulder... so im back to ground zero... my job is not hard, but I have to stretch like a mofo to drive my rig so I think it just ripped the scare tissue... so after this injury I have decided to take a turn on the Stage instead of the Platform....

I will be looking to pack on some size over the next 6 months and then start my cut for my first show in the late spring or early summer!
