Is there any brand of pizza out that is healthy? I was thinking perhaps that instead of eating a Dominos pizza which has simple carbs and loads of fat, there might be a pizza you can buy that would be healthier..

Maybe one with less fat and a healthier whole wheat crust?

I really don't see what's so bad about most pizza's, ecept maybe excess oil on the pan before they bake it. Crust = bread like dough, tomato sauce, cheese, meats, veggies - am I missing something?

Sodium is the only "unhealthy" thing on pizza. Some places have trans fat in their dough.

Make your own pizza if you dont want to buy premade ones.
And dominos pizza is fine, assuming there is no trans fat.

Nothing wrong with fat. Yes there are higher GI carbs but when mixed with protein/fat it slows down the digestion. The only issue I have with pizza is the calorie density. It is very easy to overeat it. If you can limit yourself to 1-2 slices then there is nothing wrong with it as long as it fits into your diet. Heck, if 5 slices fits in your diet then eat it.

For some of us on these boards, the high calorie density of pizza makes it the godly food it is.

Pizza is not unhealthy. The simple carbs don't matter as much because the fat slows digestion.

The crust is pure starch and is highly fattening, according to all sources.

I usually eat a whole small sausage pizza from papa john's. I'll bet I could eat a medium. A small is 1300 some calories and has 48g of protein. Yum.

As long as it's not trans fat, it's fine.
