i just bought this sucka http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3020868&cp=2167077.2108320.2102405&parentPage=family
and apparently its telling me to take 5grams pre and post-workout. Now, this contradicts what I've been told here at Wbb, so naturally I'm a little confused. Thought it was only 5 grams at anytime during the day? whats up

post workout is going to be most effective. Its not going to hurt you to take it both times though.

I've heard that anything over 5 grams is a waste because your body cant metabolize more the that within 24h.

Just take 5 grams a day, I wouldn't worry about loading.

Take it before or after your workout, preferably after with a high GI carb like dextrose or just a high carb energy drink.

The timing is less important than taking it regularly with a high GI carb.

why do you think its going to be more effective post workout.

because thats when your body will have the biggest deficit of creatine

I'm not saying if you take it both pre and post workout its not going to work, but if I was only going to take it once, I'd take it post workout

Apparently we are supposed to take Results pre-work out, for the creatine (no?), so now I am confused...

Here's an interesting recipe that you can make with this stuff:

I call it 'Instant diahrea'. Just add this to water and drink. 2 hours later make sure you're near a toilet. Taking this before doing squats or leg press is sure to teach you a lesson you won't soon forget. I'd take it after the workout for that reason. Although, YMMV

correct, take your RESULTS 1hr preworkout

I was talking about taking just plain creatine monohydrate, without dextrose HMB or beta alanine. When the creatine is combined with dextrose, it helps it to be absorbed alot quicker than when its by itself. Personally I do both, I take RESULTS and then 5g post workout with my waxy maize
