View Full Version : 300 Workout Question

Sorry if this sounds stupid but would it be worthwhile to try mixing in the 300 workout into my lifting? I am trying to improve my fitness for racing MX and in the past I have stuck with circuit style weight lifting and jogging/biking but this year I want to keep my focus on getting stronger and keeping in good cardiovascular shape.

Right now I am using a modified 4 day (M,Tu, Th, F) program from intense workouts.com and I have been doing HIIT running on off days along with biking in 15 minute segments. My races are only 15 mins. long give-or-take so I don't have to go overboard with the conditioning.

Sorry if this is a newbie question but I have "searched" and haven't really found a good answer. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you mean the entire program that the guys from 300 went through or just the "300 workout" that they took as a test at the end of the program?

they used the stuff from www.gymjones.com

you could try that or CrossFit

I meant the workout that they show on Men's Health. Thanks for the info on CrossFit.
