I read on google that spinach loses most if it's nutrients 4-8 days after being picked. (it takes longer than that for it to arrive at supermarkets)

Would I be better off eating frozen spinach rather than fresh spinach? Right now I keep fresh spinach in the fridge for a full week before buying more.

Find a scientific article stating that.

Don't take this personally, but google creates tons of idiots. ANYTHING can be found on google.

Finding a credible source through google is ok, but it will take some work.

IMO that sounds like crap. Spinach is good stuff only if it's fresh. Canned and frozen are not only gross but don;t offer much.

Type "spinach loses" in google. This is the first link that comes up:
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/21500.php

All the links point to a study done by Penn state university.

Someone at work told me about spinach losing it's nutrients after a couple of days so I did a search on this website and didn't find anything that's when I tried google.

I like to buy the canned leaf spinach, I love the taste of it. Plus you get to pretend you are Popeye for 5 minutes, and get pumped for the gym!
