I'm interested in expanding my library of nonfiction books. I'm looking for something dealing with math, chemistry, philosophy.. or any mixture or crossover of such subjects. Right now I'm reading Physics of the Impossible by Kaku. Not looking for anything resembling a textbook, but technical narrative is ok.

The Tao of Physics.

I've been slowly reading through it in my spare time (read: on the crapper) in the past 4 months or so. It's pretty interesting stuff!

Concealment and Exposure & other essays by Thomas Nagel. I seem to enjoy his philosophical style. It deals with ideas about privacy and public life, etc

The only non-fiction type books I've read are Hawking's "Brief History of Time" (which everyone has read) and Brian Greene's "The Elegant Universe" which was very well-written, and not overly technical.

I'd be very interested in picking up some math books too if any one has any recommendations.
