If I am to make a protein flapjack and either cook them in the oven or microwave them will this take away anything from the whey protein, I mean will it damage the goodness in any way if that makes sense?

Thanks

no. not unless it has aminogen or something similar in it.

Why the hell would you cook a flapjack in the microwave?? Or even the oven for that matter. Sorry, not trying to be a wise guy but why wouldn't you just used a skillet/frying pan or a griddle like the other 99.999% of the people in the world??

I'm with HP666. Any sort of pancake like batter cooked in the microwave is gonna be a ****ty mess.

I don't see your point.

Also, seeing as how heat can deactivate an enzyme...not that there is enough heat from a microwave to do that.

Even then aminogen breaks the polypeptide into tri and dipeptides...so what would be the big deal?

if you want to make pancakes, i just did the directions on the box, added 1-2 scoops of the protein powder and added a lil extra milk to even it out. they did taste a little wierd with the vanilla to me, i would try chocolate if you have it, maybe even strawberry.
