View Full Version : Carb Cycling during vball season.

If I were to carb cycle to lose a couple pounds during the upcoming volleyball season how should I structure it? Each game lasts about 50 minutes on Thursdays. This is "A" level play so it's fairly strenuous. How does this look?:

Sun: Low Carb
Mon: High Carb
Tues: Low Carb
Wed: High Carb
Thr: Moderate carb
Fri: Low carb
Sat: Low carb

Would one high carb day be enough to replenish all of my glycogen stores for the game on Thursday? Should I go four days low carb (Fri-Mon) and then go high on Tues and Wed? Thanks!
