View Full Version : What Do You Have For Breakfast?

Hey,

For breakfast I used to have porridge - 1 cup of oats and 2 cups or milk - but I got fed up of it after a while, I just got bored of it and didn't enjoy it any longer. Perhaps it was the way I was making it. I would put it in the microwave for about 3.5mins, it would take forever to cool down as well.

Right now I'm just having a big plate of cereal, but I'm trying to gain some weight so it's not the best.

So I'm looking for some ideas - what do you guys have for breakfast? Something that's quite quick and easy to make :P

Thanks, slightly different situation though, he's trying to loose weight, I'm trying to gain weight :) Also, there's not many suggestions on that page to be honest.

Then search for a more complete thread out of the many that are out there.

Or, take whatever is mentioned in that thread pertaining to losing weight, and eat more of it.

I will have a search, but why are you so against me making a new topic? Nearly every topic which has/will bee created will have been discussed before.

In all honesty, I should've searched first, but I still think the topic will be useful and serve a purpose.

I can't wait to bulk again so I can eat mcdonalds. I love those egg mcmuffins and sausage biscuits they have.

I'll vouch for the annoying search ****. Honestly. If the search wasn't littered with useless crap it would be of use. Journals should have their own search function.

On the other hand, you could always use the "Search this forum" feature.

every morning i drink this shake, it takes only 5 min to prep and drink.

half cup raw oats
1 serving natural peanut butter (like 2 tablespoons)
half to one cup cottage cheese (fat free)
1 banana
enough milk to get a good consistency (maybe a cup, fat free)
for flavor i add some cocoa and a pinch of splenda

tastes great, quick, and gets the job done.

1/3 fat 1/3 protein 1/3 carbs and like 500 calories

btw, i cant take credit for this because it was designed by my boyfriend, noah- except i made it taste good by adding the cocoa and the splenda

At first I was like "only 500 Cal? What?" Then I realized who you were. Haha! That looks like quite a bit more than 500Cal though, even on the low end.

i figured it out on fitday a really long time ago and it was like 530 or something. it could easily be doubled though, it is delicious. how many calories do you eat for breakfast?

I usually only eat 4 or 5 harboiled eggs (I'm cutting now), so only 280-350Cal.

A shake with:
1 banana
2 tblsp natty PB
16 oz whole milk
1.25 cups of oatmeal
1 scoop of vanilla nitrean
1 scoop of vanilla weightgainer
