Carbs are funny. I can eat some amounts on workout days and have to restrict more on nonworkout days. I'm getting more and more sensative to carbs.
The whole cycle of carbs starts with a workout:
Workout
Eat high GI carbs
Eat low GI carbs
Basically eat whatever carbs I want
(I don't get tired)
Go to bed
Nonworkout day after workout day...
Eat 1 serving low-GI carbs in the morning
Eat veggies during day
Maybe eat one more serving of low-GI carbs at night
Workout day
Morning - no carbs else I get tired
Workout
repeat cycle
It's as if the nights after my workout, my body is needing carbs, even into the next morning.....but the mornings after my nonworkout days don't require carbs.
It's as if since I didn't workout the prev night, my body retains the carbs I ate the previous day a lot better.
Anyone else this way?
