I will start bulking next week but there is still one question left to know- I read in this forum that your calories intake should be the produkt of bodyweight x 13. Do they mean the lean bodyweight or the normal (with fat)?

I agree - someone w/ a normal metabolism ussually maintains weight btwn. 14-16 cals/lb

wow... Hell I just decided to shoot for 400 g protein a day, and 400+ grams carbs a day and leave the fat to its own self. ;) 'course my bulking is much different than yours....lol

For reference:

When eating for MASS I consume at a ratio of about 20 x total BW but don't immediately begin this ratio after leaning-out.

I work-up to this ratio gradually over a period of weeks, increasing about 200 or calories p/day, p/week to keep the excess weight gain to a managable level.

This method will also allow one to manage the amount of weight gained in a given time period. If the weight comes on to quickly or not quickly enough calories or macros (carbs.) can be modified to desirable levels to achieve the desired effect.
