I started my cut 4 weeks ago at 14st 2lbs, i now am at 13st7.5 lbs

This is 8.5 lbs loss in only 4 weeks.

Cut out carbs late at night and reduced my fats a bit.

Also been taking hydroxycut for 9 days too.

I don't think anything's wrong with losing 2-3 pounds per week. As long as you're not getting weaker keep it up.

I bought a fat caliper of the internet of $5 so I can also get a rough gauge of my body fat %. That way as I'm cutting I can estimate how much of the weight loss is fat.

were you on creatine before and cut it out, because it could be from the loss of water weight. I'd aim for 1.5 lb loss per week max, you don't wanna lose all that hard earned muscle you got

I have become weaker over the last 7 days.

I am still taking creratine.

Shud i up my carbs or fats again?

I am getting leaner but weaker at the same time!

It's normal for strength gains to stall or even to become weaker when losing weight, especially if its a lot of weight.

If you just starting dieting you'll drop an initial amount of water weight, 5 to even 10 pounds in the first two weeks or so (sometimes sooner and more weight depending on your bodyweight and bodyfat percentage).

Still 2-3 pounds per week isn't going to hurt. What the better question is would be what bodyfat percentage are you. If your 20+ % then you could lose 2-3 pounds per week for a couple of weeks and it wouldn't be "too fast".

how much weaker are we talking about here?

2-3 lbs a week is far too much past the initial 2 weeks water loss, deficit is far too high

My bf 2 weeks ago was 16.8%

I am aiming for 12%, below this wud be great tho.

My strength gains have dropped say 2 reps on some sets of ten reps! Also dont feel as if i can lift as heavy.

lower the weight and get out the reps a strength drop of around 10-15% is normal on a cut

just keep pushing through it
