If no place has dextrose or maltodextrin locally then try:

Gatorade
Smarties
....you could even blend white flower in milk with whey or something

Try a place where you make your own wine. I get dextrose dirt cheap by the bag.

Soda, gatorade - anything with sugar in it. Obviously, dextrose or maltodextrine is better, but sugar is what you're looking for. Try an Amp energy drink. My personal favorite.

plain old sugar probably works just fine.

Dextrose is pretty cheap to come by.

If you don't want to pay the shipping costs of online delivery, try a homebrew/ubrew type place. They're all over the place, I'm sure a google search will yield some good results.

glucose supplements are typically used by diabetics for a quick fix if their blood sugar is low. I'm only familiar with the tablets, don't think I've ever seen a glucose drink.

Ultra Fuel by Twinlabs was one of the first ones out there way back in the 90's.

They are not uncommon.

Also Cytosport makes a glucose drink:: cytomax energy..

I take it pre-workout on my higher cal days.. 1 scoop = 22g maltodextrin..

I got an 11lb bag of dextrose from supplements direct for like $9. Lol. There were shipping costs too, though.

That's what I used to do. Then I went to a Homebrew store and picked up two five pound bags for $12 OTD.

I'll probably do that the next time I buy dextrose - in a year, LOL!
