I'm new to the forum but figured I would go ahead and post up my progress pictures.

After working a job of traveling and living in hotels for an entire year I had gotten to a point of being sick of how I looked in the mirror. After spending a lot of time reading and learning how to workout I went from 194lbs to 165lbs (right when I wake up). I am now back up to 173 and trying to stay lean but I am finding out how hard it is to gain weight without gaining fat as well.

Anyway here are the pictures.

Was this last year?

Yes, last year. I haven't taken any pictures since then because I have been trying to figure out how to gain weight without putting on too much fat. When I see pictures of myself with the extra body fat it discourages me.

Supplements consisted of ON 100% whey protein and getting my diet in check, the last month I cut out most of my carbs but did notice a loss of energy when I did.

Well the cut went well, but I think you already know that. Post some current pics if you want helpful feedback as well as start reading in the diet and nutrition forum as to how to put on mass with minimizing bf% increase (i.e. slow bulk, 10-15% above daily maintenance calories).

Good luck.
