it looks like you are starting to go up before the briefs stop you? Maybe they are a little too tight for learning briefs in, but they are definatly keeping you high. I'm not a squat tech (I'll wait for Phil to chime in here) but, it looks like you really need to push your knees out alot

I know We had to pull them up even higher i think they need to be streched out some more.

i am going to touch that box I am might try to put some basketballs in the legs to strech them

I say just keep working it. Stretching the legs out may help. I'm new to this stuff as well, so I'll let the big dogs give the real advice.

Rob, u need to drop the weight down to around 700 pounds and practice in that range for a little while with a weight u can manhandle and not worry about misgrooving or dumping if u get all jacked up. take it as deep as u can then let the briefs squeeze u. u are not even near the point where the briefs are stopping u, they are just starting to catch when u drive it up. when u try to force the weight down past the briefs stopping point ur knees will start to bow in to help u get lower (thats why i say use a lighter weight 7-800). this will teach u what the squeeze feels like. once u get this down then start adding weight using a periodized program adding weight each time. i dont feel an all out ME day is the right way to learn how to use briefs.

I am not skilled in the arena of gear use, but I think Sam's advice sounds spot on.
You are one strong man Robert!

i agree with sam's advice!!! can you pull the briefs up anymore at all?
i'm sure its weird going from all raw to gear, but try to keep going until you almost pass out, and you should be at the box. even if you do pass out, you have spotters, thats what they are there for!
i can't get over how beastly you are. are you doing any of the SPF meets coming up?
