I have to agree with your list Brent. Perhaps add the fellow Vlad (last name escapes me) that has the squat record right now. He is in the 900s. I think Reinhoudt needs to be in there as well. I will give this some more thought...

I think Kutcher is pretty damn impressive!!!
Rock, I'm sure you've heard about it, but can you explain how Kutcher "flex's" the bar off the ground. I have not really read about the technique and was wondering about it.

To my knowledge what they are referring to with the FLEX off the ground. Is allowing the arms to ELONGATE so to speak, let the shoulders dip way down and instead of jerking the bar off the deck, flex it off the deck slowly. Once the bar clears the deck, accelerate as fast as you can. That is it in a nutshell.

Trying to help add some good names. I'm kinda surprised no one's mentioned Ricky Dale Crain.

Gotta put a vote in for Chuck. haha especially the one time he sprayed blood all over the head judge

the other for Konstantinovs. I mean that guy is seriously nuts. Also Bolton. First and thus far the only guy to pull 1000lbs definatly goes in the all time books

It seems most agree with Coan for sure, lightest guy to EVER pull 900, ONLY one to do it at 220, better than Chuck, Cash, better than anyone...period.

For lightweights Gant STILL holds the ALL TIME record at 123 and 132. To me Gant and Coans lifts will last as long as any record, heck when is the last time someone came within 50lbs of Coans best dl at 220?

I think RDC pulled 700@165. I know I saw Kutcher in person pull 793@165(smoked). then attempted over 8.

Great list and, like Xellarz, I'd definately add RDC.

Others also to be added to the original list - Kaz and Tee Meyers.

Just as an aside about Tee Meyers, there was an old PLUSA Video Magazine plug for a video he made where he said something like
"Imagine you're at a powerlifting meet and after the squat you're 100 pounds ahead of some skinny little man. After the bench you're still feeling confident, you've gained a little more on the guy. Then the deadlift comes and that skinny little dude outpulls you by over a hundred pounds, out-totals you, and leaves carrying the trophy and walking out with your woman!"Not exactly a humble dude, but very entertaining.
