I am planning on starting to eat bison in my diet. There is nowhere local that carries it. Does anyone have any good grass fed bison website? Any tips or advice for buying online? Thanks alot

Just curious, why do you want to eat bison so badly?

First and foremost it is by far the best tasting meat I have ever eaten. On top of that its a good source of protein, cla, omega 3. It has less calories and fat than regular beef so you can eat more so you feel fuller. Those are the main reasons in a nutshell.

Where are you located? That will affect what sites you should buy from based on shipping times and costs.

Personally, I like Blackwing if you're in the Midwest. ElkUSA is also good if you're in the western US.

T-Nation just had an article on the wonders of grassfed meats.

Interestingly enough the article actually didn't plug all their supplement crap they sell.

They gave this link in the article:http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/

Wild free range meat is the food of the gods. Bison and elk are awesome. I'm gonna have to get me some more now.

Not locked in a cage.

Does the cage affect their flavor? Also, how do you know they were not locked in a cage? There is no governemnt rule requiring freerange to not be locked in a cage.
