After a 5x5 session of squats I can barely walk! How the hell do you guys add in lunges and leg curls and leg presses? Should I do 5x5 squats and maybe some 3x12 on other exercises? Or can a 5x5 squat on leg day be enough?

I'm 5'10" 140lbs, I've been training on and off for about 2 years and have made ALOT of strength gains. But zero size gains.
Stats
B: 190 S: 220 D: 240
My leg workout used to be 5x5 squats and 3x5 front squats. That was more than enough for me. Sometimes I threw in a set of barbell lunges after when I felt like it.

I find 3x5 to be more than enough, but I squat 3x a week. It all really depends on the frequency.

What routine are you following again High School guy? and how are you eating? remember, that is important in gaining size.

I don't :)
It just takes practice. Start by adding a couple lighter sets of squats after your 5x5, then add another exercise, etc.

Are you getting enough water? How is your diet? Do you have a large meal 2 hours before the gym?
Personally, I never did the lunges because of my knees.
