View Full Version : Wed. Squat Session review

Well I had an alright squat session on wed. and I took some video. You can be the judge for yourself. I didn't like the 405; I lost the pressure by grunting a bit too much, I need to stop. 405 was a big PR for me its the heaviest I have ever gone. Everything is raw I guess except for the neoprene TK bands, if they count?, no belt either. I'm looking for any tips/suggestions ect. I'm all ears. Thanks

Time lifting: 1 year 5 months
Age: 21
Height: 6'1"
Weight: ~205lbs

you still did it pretty easy man looked good! and i make just as much noise as you dont feel bad.

Nice squatting. The 405 looked good. Wasn't sloppy at all. 1 critique/suggestion: dont rush your setup. Get your feet planted, take in your air then squat. Also you might want to try holding it at the top if you ever plan on competing (not sure about your goals). But yeah, the main thing from me is just work on your setup and after squat.

Great job though man! Thats some nice squatting.

Brian yea I usually try to warm up with some box squats. I'm gonna deload now and take it easy until I get back to the Nasty (at least that's what I intend to do).
