View Full Version : What are good foods to eat before/after a workout?

before i start i usually have 2 glasses of milk, tin of tuna and some yoghurt.
but nothing after
any sugestions to help get built?

~20 grams of protein and 30 of carbs before a workout.
~40 of protein and 30 of carbs after.
That's what I do.

I like fast carbs + protein before, and mix of fast and slow carbs + protein after.
What doesn't really matter too much, just make sure to eat something before and after you lift.

I use waxy maize with bcaas and WPI pre workout, waxy maize and WPI during, and Waxy maize again with anatrop, creatine, wpi post workout.

That would make for an interesting workout. :fart:
I like OPTICEN (http://atlargenutrition.com/nutrition_detail.php?products_id=2) before and after. Perfectly balanced and light on the stomach. I use a 1/2 dose before and a full one after, typically.
