Ok bros...this can be a tricky one to answer. By best, I mean...it could be someone who was down by a bunch going into the deads...and NO one thought he could pull it but did, or the MOST in a certain class, what single lifts do you feel are the best ever? Here is my shortlist:

ED COANS 901DL AT 220 in a singlet, 2 hour weigh in, no one is even CLOSE.

LAMAR GANTS 683 AT 132...ditto

JEREMENY HOORNSTRA BENCH, 605@242 I was there....AWESOME power, flat back, close grip, no tricks, pure power and a friend of mine.

ED COAN 931 SQUAT AT 242 IN VEGAS. His last squat, single ply gear, walked out, deep, effortless really.....brutal strength and style

JON KUCS 854 DL BELTLESS IN HAWAII. Gus had a long write up about this one, it gave me chills

MIKE BRIDGES 800 PLUS SQUAT AT 181, AGAIN, no monolift, no early weigh ins, single ply....has ANYONE since been able to duplicate that feat?

JOE BRADLEY 396 BENCH RAW AT 132, FIRST TRIPLE BODYWEIGHT BENCH EVER...AND DONE MINUS THE SHIRT

KONSTANTINOVS DLS.....conventional, brutal, back strength on the PREMIUM level...I love to watch this guy pull.

Those are a few of mine off the top of my head, whats your list?

Those are all great ones, Rock, and all ones that came to my mind, as well.

The only ones I might add would be Don Reinhoudt's 937lbs raw squat, Mendelson's 715 raw bench, and Priscilla Ribic's 556 DL @ women's 148.

Kennelly's 1050 bench. Sickest speed ever.
Bolton's 1003 Pull
Any of Coan's Squats or Deads

Easy, Ed Coans 901@220 deadlift is the best lift ever done.

Coan is a given 901 deadlift period is insane theres only a handfull of people to ever deadlift over 900 i think there are 5 or 6 i could be wrong but i know there arent many at all

Hes a big one, Rob!

Frankl 810@198! is a very good comparison.
He was created in some lab and is only getting better.

Robs a great bencher. But, you gotta throw the Freakshow in there.

I'll have to hand it to Rob, what amazes me about his lifts is how he just grinds them up every time! Every time I watch him I think, there's no way, he's going to lose his steam. Nope, he just pushes it to lockout.

Rob, along with Ryan Kennelly's 1050

Also Vlad's 1250 squat was freaking sick!!

Dumb questions for you guys. There is a meet in the Twin Cities in Sept I would like to try for. Is the weight the plates alone or weight plus bar?

I would also like to add in Arcidis 705, and Wohlbler's 900, true barrier breaking stuff.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Ken lain hit that 705 prior to Arcidi. I was a lot younger when they competed and seem to recall them being the guys to beet back in the day.

Bolton's deadlift and I would have picked Mendy's raw 715 if he did not bomb so many equipped competitions. To me that takes away from his legacy.

Nope...Arcidis was the first...it broke new ground and he SMOKED it.

Joe Mazza's 633 bench at 165 3.83xBW, Brad Heck's 705 at 181 3.89xBW and Shawn Frankl's 810 bench at 198 and Joe Ceklovsky 600 bench at 148 both over 4xBW for the light weight's

Rob Luyando's 905 bench at 242 3.78xBW for the middle weight bench

Ryan Kennely's 1050 for the big guys bench

I have to give the Squats and Deadlifts to Ed Coan - no one is close regardless of weight class.
