Hey guys, I'm 17 yrs of age, and do not have access to supplements.
However, i do want to eat "high" protein foods.

So i was thinking, should i eat canned tuna everyday?

The brand name is Serena.
I usually eat 85grams of tuna, and even sometimes 190grams of tuna.

1. So would eating this much canned tuna be "too much" ?
2. Does 85grams of canned tuna, provide me with enough protein similar to that of protein supplements?
3. Would eating it everyday be unhealthy?

Thanks guys.

185g of Tuna depending on what else is in the can, eg In Olive oil/smoked, the protein and fat and carbs changes a little between flavours, but 185g is typically around 40g of protein, unless you weigh 40pounds this is not enough. This is similar to what protein you get in alot of shakes but you still need to find other ways to pack alot more protein into a dailey diet. As for eating it everyday, I see no reason it should be, looks almost perfect for a bodybuilding diet to me, low fat, high calories and stacks of protein and omega oils.

its not enough total protien for the day but its a good start.

there isnt a problem eatting a can a day. Now if you were eatting 3+ cans a day, you may need to worry about mercury poisoning

I burned myself out on tuna by having it everyday and now I cant eat it at all.

Other than that I wouldnt worry.

Just buy chunk light, and you should be perfectly fine.

It's fine to eat Tuna out of the can everyday. The taste sucks but its a cheap and easy source of protein.

Go for it. I usually eat around 3 cans per day.
