I am brand new to lifting, and I am NOT looking to get huge. My foremost goal is to look toned and defined.

I am torn between Rippetoe's Beginning Strength Workout and the Wannabebig workout. But what I'm trying to do right now is devise a diet plan. It's difficult because most diets for weight lifting seem geared towards taking in as much as possible in attempt to get huge.

Since this is not what I am shooting for, I've tried to devise my own diet plan following the 6 meals a day plan. Any advice on it would be appreciated:

Oatmeal
Raisin Bran
Eggs
Yogurt
Bananas
Chunk Light Tuna
Crackers
Nuts
Salad (w/ Blue Cheese)
Vegetable sub, wheat bread w/ Honey mustard
Steamed Vegetables
Sharp Swiss Cheese
Propel Water
Iced Tea

Those are the foods I am looking at right now. I plan to eat 6 small meals a day of any of the above food. Am I missing anything?

Please keep in mind I am not trying to "Bulk"

Thanks

Secret formula: ..figure out how many calories you are eating and make sure it's under what you burn everyday.
