I'm looking for a change. Nitrean is great, I have no complaints. But I like to keep things interesting personally. Seems like a great price, I could get 10 lbs of whey for 60 bucks. Anyone else know of other cheap whey sources?

60 bucks for 10lbs is a pretty good price. I get Optimum Nutrition from bodybuilding . com, but it's around 80 bucks. Good protien though.

I'd spend $20 more and get 5lbs concentrate and 5lbs of the whey isolate as well, or just get all isolate. Isolate cuts out all the other crap from the concentrate like sugars and fat. It also has 4 more grams of protein per scoop.

protien isn't going to be cheap due to milk costs and price of gas, etc to farm.. but trueprotien is pretty good if you're looking to "design" your own supplement blends. It can get pricey if you go beyond just straight flavored whey.
I went with Nitrean from ALN over trueprotien's straight whey just from the simple fact for about the same price for 10lbs... you get egg, casein, and whey instead of just straight whey. I would however suggest buying samples from TP before purchasing a particular flavor in bulk..some are pretty nasty.

TP has good stuff. They are not cheaper if you match ingredients, but they do sell less expensive forms of whey.
All of that said, I think the taste, ease of mixing, and quality of Nitrean make it a better product than what you will find at TP.

Vanilla nitrean tastes good, I don't like any forms of chocolate (Opticen is the only exception!) and I'm not crazy for strawberry anything. Ease of mixing is a big plus, but some extra shaking never bothered me. If there were more flavours to choose from, I personally would buy more protein from Atlarge. Too much of a good thing isn't good!
You're right chris, I have seen they aren't cheap either. I can't believe how much they charge for simple dextrose! I can get it for something like a dollar a kilo! But there are always good deals.

TP is a good company to work with. Dante does a great job, plus you can mix your own. As Chris said, if you're looking for a premium grade protein supplement, then Nitrean is very good at that price point. If you are looking for a cheaper protein or have a very particular mix you want then TrueProtein is where it's at.
