I'm considering seriously changing my routine to more of a powerlifting one. I already get about 1 gram of protein per pound of body taking whey protein powder.

For powerlifting, should I significantly up the amount? Also, are there any other supplements I need to take to see big gains on my big 3?

Not really. It may be wise to pick up glucosamine or microlactin for your joints. But supplements whether powerlifting or bodybuilding shouldn't be that much different.

yup. and fish oil has been a saver for my joints. i still have to ice and liniment them quite a bit as well.

protein, creatine, fish oil, vitamins, BCAAS...use what works!

Food will be your best friend if you get into powerlifting.

Fish oil is a good one. I always take in casein protein at night, in addition to whey during the day.

food! basically put hte food down to be able to recovery and grow with the heavy duty workouts associated with powerlifting..

if i had to suggest one supplement..i'd go with ALN's results before even a protien supplement due to the results it's giving everyone who's taking it!

mass builders, fish oils, multivitamins for active people, etc. can't really go wrong here..supplementation is pretty much the same no matter if you're powerlifting or bodybuilding. If you're just starting powerlifting.. i'd suggest taking ETS from ALN for awhile and at least a week before you start the program to help combat the muscle soreness you'll experience from such a drastic change in your lifting routine.
