Trust is a big part (to me) of any relationship be it an intimate one or not. When I was seeing the last girl I was with I had that feeling of trust, like either of us could tell one another anything. Then again my friend just had that trust violated that his woman had maintained with him for over 2 years, they broke up after 2 years because she lied to him and it wasn't a little lie either.

Sounds like your very young and inexperienced with women and relationships. Losing the trust of your bf/gf/whatever is a good way to end things.

We both trust each other alot but if you saw how good we are together lying about drinking with my friends twice is not all that bad. We never have really "fought". We're inseperable 99% of the time. I take her out to eat constantly and randomly call her just to tell her I love her and she does the same. She just doesn't want a party animal and i've been out drinking twice because all my friends are graduating and leaving my town this summer and I won't see them again. I'd do anything for her. I had the chance to move to the beach making 400 a week and I passed it up to stay here with her. if I don't love her I wouldn't be here.

I see several problems here. You're saying that you love her yet...
a.) You apparently aren't aware of which scenarios will make her mad and which ones won't.
b.) You were afraid to tell her that you drink. So essentially you don't feel that you can always tell her the truth... I don't think people try to hide things from someone they truly love.
c.) You say she doesn't want a party animal but what's that supposed to mean? If you ARE a party animals then she doesn't know you that well and is trying to change you. If you're NOT then she still doesn't seem to know that you're not a party animal, again meaning she doesn't know you very well.

I mean just in general it seems like you feel that you have to hide the truth from her so that right there already means there isn't much trust or honesty in the relationship. You openly lied to her and it's been my experience that people don't lie to people that they love and/or respect. I'd be surprised if this relationship didn't end up with more serious problems later on.

Now if you go to college with your GF still being your GF I honsetly believe you may make it past your first year, but come your 2nd year things will change. Girls in college get more open, more horny, and they are finally no longer around their parents. So all that girl **** talk that goes on in their bedrooms at their girls only sleepovers about which guy they'd like to be with comes out in public cause they no longer got daddy watching their back.

I give it a year and you'll be broken up and over this chick, so enjoy it while it lasts but don't expect anyhting more.

Wow Mr. I am a sober mofo, drinking isn't bad when you don't over do it. I like the feeling of being tipsy, in a slight daze relaxed and sleepy a little (if I dirnk 2-3 beers I typically get dozy and dozze off to a very good sleep) Even when drinking more like getting durnk it can be a lot of fun. I have been actively drinking at least several times am onth to the level of intoxication for the past 2 1/2 years. And never has anythign ever that bad happened.

I never really tell anyone they're too young for love but it's definately best if you've got something to compare it to so you know it's not just an infatuation as it seems to be with younger to even older people a lot of the time. I'm not going to say you don't love her because of that but simply by how you're going about your business with her, so to speak. You want respect from women? You don't have to have serious cash flow or don juan's schlong. You've got to have respect, it's the most important thing in the world or at least in mine. Money doesn't buy my respect to you it's something that you work for and can't be put a price on. If you don't respect your girl, she won't respect you and I already am almost positive she'll do something bad according to you. Simply because you've put insecurities in her head. The best thing to do is end it and have fun in college.
