I take 2 scoops of nitrean with some peanut butter, about 2 tblspoons of oatmeal, and 8oz of fat free milk about 1.5 hours before my workout. I work out from about 6-7pm then come home and eat at around 7:15pm. At about 9:30pm I take another 2 scoops of Nitrean with some peanut butter and fat free milk but with no oatmeal this time. I was wondering though, is it better for me to take my second protein shake right after my workout instead of having my meal right after the workout then the shake? If so, how long after taking the protein shake should I wait to eat dinner?

Thanks!

If you're eating a meal only 15 minutes after you workout then that's perfect and you don't need a protein shake post workout. The whole PRE/POST workout shake thing has spiraled completely out of control, and your question is just typical of that; and that is not a knock on you at all. I've probably asked a similar question 20 times in the past myself. 15 minutes is actually a great time frame to get nutrients into your body, you don't need to finish your last rep, put the weight down and chug a shake, waiting 15 minutes is good. Anyway, I'm digressing into another topic; I like what you are doing; and if it's working for you, then keep it up.
