Rob Luyando, Jeremy Frey and my self went to Matt Kroczaleski's house to train this weekend. George Halbert from Westside Barbell came up with a crew from Ohio, Tom Webster and Tim Hensley came from Detroit Barbell and Matt K had his crew there Brother K-Dog, Josh, Dennis, and a few others. I apologize for forgetting some names. We trained in Matt's garage today. It was very humid but some great lifting went on. I will post some videos soon from today's training. Here are some pictures of everyone who was there lifting. Thanks to Matt K for having us up and letting us stay at his very nice home.

Like I said on PL watch, that is AWESOME stuff!

It reminds me of the camaraderie at the old Gold's in Venice, just with powerlifters this time.

Bill, who orchestrated this whole thing?

I will take credit for it. LOL! Actually it was orignally going to be me driving down to work with Kroc on his bench and then word got out and we started inviting other lifters. It was a great time and an honor to lift with all of the monsters! Training with Halbert was the high light for me. I have been a huge fan of Halberts for many years and to train with him and pick his brain in person was awesome.

This is hopefully going to be a start of a trend for us. Going to try to do this type of work out session every 2 to 3 months. Great learning tool!

I would like to do it again soon. Matt is a cool guy and it was really nice of him to let us stay in his very nice home.

That's awesome. Reminds me of the training weekends Crawford used to have. There's nothing like getting together with a different crew and busting your ass.

Gotta agree with Vinny, these weekends tend to bring the best out of lifters and you always walk away with a ton more knowledge than when you arrived.

Myself what i took from watching the best in the game in the same room is there was one bitchin. Also there wasnt a single weight missed. Yeah Halbery lost one but that **** happens, and with 905 anything can happen. Just glad it seemed like he was ok.

Rob Luyando

No reason for any bitching. We were all there for the same reason. To move Iron and learn from each other and help each other out.

That phenom looked good on you rob. Jesse has one order to try to use for europa. Who else do you know is coming to that?

I make any shirt look good. LOL! Tough shirt to learn. Key is breaking it in right.

Haven't heard who else will be there. Pretty sure Ryan is going to be there. Pual Key is probably going to be there as well.

Going great, pretty much back to 100%. Taking things nice and slow and being a lot more cautious any time I have any pain issues. PM me your cell number and I will send you a training vid from this weekend.

Is that George Halbert in the yellow? He's one of the best benchers I've ever seen.

Halberts speed is crazy fast. I don't like to drop the bar fast. Doesn't allow the shirt to build and to risky with the weights I am playing with. I have always been a grinder and have been working my speed but some people are just ment to be slow.

Rob Rob Rob!!!!!

Billy just keeps filling my firepower for you two. Shirtless pics and a "Husky" Rob makes for GREAT firepower :)

And you can have Nick he is just a beat up old maried man now. Not worth me keeping around maybe you can sell him to the Circus as a 350 pound Albino Bald Gorilla or something!!!!

As long as my slow ass keeps out benching you it doesn't matter what bus i was on. Truth be known I had to walk to school. 5 miles each way up hill!

Rob, you're the biggest boy in the pic brutha. Lots of beef standing around there. I always enjoy watching Kroc train, he's a great guy. Plus seeing The Master--George, that's awesome. I can't leave out Billy, let's just say he's sexy.

Regarding the Phenom, I am going to give it another shot after IPA World's. I was not getting the poly shirts on correctly. I was trying to wear them like I wore my denim. As it is I get my Double Rage X on in about 30 seconds and one tug (on the shirt :tuttut:) from Rhodes.

Awesome thread, watched the vids. Who was that in the Dead Kennedys shirt?

Halbert's benching is awesome to watch, I'd kill to be able to train with and get advice from a group of lifters like that.
