I'm just curious to know, since suggested protein intake is based on body weight, why is 5 grams of creatine per day just as good for a 250 pound guy as is it for a 100 pound guy?

I personally take 10gms per day, but I take it both pre and post workout. The reason creatine monohydrate can be dosed so generically is because of the absorption rate, its not that high, but it's still very effective. No matter what size you are your body is not going to absorb and use more than 5gms at a time.

It's the law in most states. Any more than 5g of creatine, and I think you can be fined. $50 for the first offense, usually. Happened to a buddy of mine about a month ago.

LMAO
If I remember correctly it doesn't matter the dose, but the end result of saturating the muscles with creatine is the goal. So 5 grams, 10 grams, it's all going for the end result.

Could be.
Either way, next time use the "search" function, you'll find lots of stuff on creatine and its dosages
