The best tasting protein supplement

What is the best tasting protein supplement you have ever had. I was using generic GNC crap and I found it simply detestible. I also wanted to know if there is anything I should be taking besides my vitamin, protein shake, and creatine caplet.

Any help would be ooberlly usefull.

ON Banana Creme, ON Strawberry, and ON Rocky Road are the 3 best tasting that I've had.

I'll have to try ON. My favorite is Nitrean, the chocolate flavor. It mixes like, and tastes like, Quik.

I recently tried Syntrax Necter, which a LOT of people swear by, but I didn't care for it at all.

If you get into MRPs, then opticen and muscle milk taste great.

nitrean is the best of what I have tried - which includes:

ON choc and vanilla
CytoSport whey vanilla
ProStar Whey vanilla
GNC brand X whey choc.
Isopure whey choc.

American Whey by far is the best tasting protein and you can get it in huge sizes, 3lbs, 10lbs, 25lbs,

Vanilla, and if you want an amazing recipe:
In a blender:
Take a the glass you want fill it with ice to about and 1 1/2 inchs from the top, than add milk to fill all the spaces again fill milk to about 1 1/2 inchs from the top.
Blend, than add 1 full banana.
Add 2 tbsp of Honey
than 2 scoops of the protein powder.

ON chocolate tastes amazing, and isnt very thick.

Nitrean tastes good, but doesn't compare to ON I think. But Opticen tastes INCREDIBLE a hundred times better than ON stuff. Chocolate especially.

i like nitrean+opticen or nitrean+maximus. my post wo shake is 2 scoops maximus + 1 scoop glycomaize. my before bedtime shake is 1 scoop nitrean and 1 scoop maximus

I personally am addicted to Isopure Strwbry. I used to have to agonizingly force down any shake that wasn't blended with milk. Now I just carry isopure to the gym and mix with 12 ounces of water and goes down easy in one short chug.

maximus as well like a few others mentioned..if you've ever liked licking brownie batter out of a pan at your mama's house after she's done making the goodies, you'll LOVE maximus! Tastes just as good as betty crocker LOL!

on a side note to help with the mixing.. add a little water or milk at the bottom of the cup FIRST and you'll be power pocket free for those of us that take the full serving each day.

I liked the ALN's Nitrean chocolate flavor, I also like Muscle Milk's Chocolate Mint (i love mint). If ALN made a chocolate mint I'd be all over that!

100% whey - probably ON strawberry or chocolate
blend - nitrean by far
anything goes - opticen or maximus

My favorite is ON's chocolate mint flavor. I never buy it though because they don't sell it in a 10 lb. bag, and buying 2 5-lb jugs of chocolate mint is $10 more expensive than buying a 10 lb. bag of regular chocolate.

the best tasting protein i ever had was strawberry low carb GROW followed closely by American Whey- chocolate! I am not sure if they still make them... haven't had the american whey in a couple years and Grow is much to expensive.

For my serious answer I'd say ON chocolate with milk. If I'm looking to just put one down in less than a minute I'd say Dymatize chocolate. Makes for a thin shake that goes down so easy.
