It starts Sat. Its our first work out back in shirts. As I've posted b4 I've recently hit 625 but missed 640 do to not touching and losing it. I'd wanna open 650 at Europa. I'm plenty strong enough so I guess it's just a matter of controlling the weight in the whole. My upper back is strong enough but I am making a big effort to make it even stronger this summer. Any more advise would be grateful.

lots and lots of lat work bro. The bigger that weight gets you've gotta be able to set it up on your lats. It will really help you be able to control it better. Big time bent over rowing (strict) and big time lat pulldown work. Of course rear delts as well

Yeah we do lots of heavy rows and heavy wide cleans. I've gone as heavy as 365 on my rows for 5 with pretty good form. I really like the westside face pulls for my reardelts. I've gone to doing more pullups than the lat machine b/c i can rack it pretty easy. With the pull-ups I can do 10 to 8 witha 40lb DB on my feet. I weighing about 230 these days as it is.

CONSIDER doing heavy chest supported rows and dumbbell rows and maybe even rack pulls as well for back work. Travis is spot on as always with his fantastic advice.

row row row and row some more!

I find my lock-out gets stronger by simple bodyweight gain...just throwing that out there

We do two types of chest supported rows. With DB's which we did tonight and we have a machine to do them on. We switch from week to week.
