I am debating to start taking Myogenix Spawn. I have talked to a few people at my gym recently about it, and was just wondering what i would need to take after my cycle of Spawn. I don't know much about PH's and what you need/need not to cycle off and on. If anyone has knowledge in this area please help. Ty.

PHs are not freaking worth it dude - you spend 50-100 dollars on the actual PH - then another 200 for cycle/post cycle support and therapy - all for 10 or so lbs of gain over 8 weeks - not worth it to me - just eat more

in anycase, you want an AI (like 6-oxo), a SERM (like Nolvadex) and a Test Booster for post cycle therapy
you will probably also want liver support during the cycle since they are highly liver toxic

before you ever start a PH cycle, you need to do research - and a lot of it - those things are dangerous

Yah i know that they are very pricey. As far as liver support, i was reading a similar topic on this stuff and one guy said milk thistle isn't going to help with Ph's?!?! I figured you would want to take milk thistle with any type of supplement like this. I took it when i was taking creatine a year or so back. I don't like creatine though for the fact of all the water weight you have to carry. I need schooled on all the different termonology of Ph's and post cycle products like Nolvadex.

All the water weight?????? Creatine does aid in water retention but I definitely didn't notice a difference in my weight or appearance when I started taking it, and I've never heard of anybody gaining very much 'water weight' at all. No offense, but are you sure you know what you're talking about?

I typically gain a few lbs of water after taking creatine. Some people will retain more water than others. I have a buddy who'll gain 10lbs+ within couple weeks of taking creatine. Most of which I'm sure is water because his appetite sucks

I'd assume it depends on how much water you were drinking before using creatine as opposed to after you started using it as well. Maybe my body is way different but I noticed pretty much no change when I started using creatine.

It depends on how much water you drink and how much water your body stores in inter-cellular spaces (where creatine pulls the water from). There are creatine non-responders also, so some people won't gain anything.

lol yes "water weight." I may not know exactly what i am talking about but i do know when i look bloated, and can tell when i have more water weight on. I am positive that i gain a quite a bit more weight when i take creatine, just as my overall apperance just looks, as i said bloated.

eat more food! my little bro is trying to get me to take maxodrol, but there's no way i'm gonna waste my money on it. besides, when i'm benching 400-500lbs on down the road i want to be able to say i got there without the help of PHs. good luck!

Yeah i don't think i am going to mess with it, for one its too pricey, and i don't really want to get into Ph/hgh right now. I'm gonna stick with a basic creatine monohydrate and continue my protein shakes per day. I am also going to break out the NO-Xplode again, for the first time in over a year. I am going to try to start eating better and spreading my meals out while eliminating any sort of fast foods. As far as my pre workout/Mono/protein/multi-vitamins go are there any other suggestions of other supplements that may be beneficial to me that i am missing?

You've pretty much got it covered. Could throw in some fish oil, and if you have energy problems at the gym take a couple caffeine pills before hand. Definitely not necessary, but if you have money to spend and experience bad DOMS try ETS from atlarge.

I debated on whether or not I was even gonna respond to this thread due to embarrassment but decided after I kept seeing people (usually way too young) asking so many questions about PHs I thought I'd share my 1 experience with a PH.

First of all I made the mistake of not doing enough research on PHs and the support needed with them. I made the mistake of listening to the idiot at the supplement store that said all I needed was the PH and a bottle of 6oxo for PCT.

I have a great diet and workout routine and was on a mild cut at the time but when it was all said and done over the 3 week cycle and 2-3 week pct i prolly put on 2-3 lbs of lbm. Which is prolly 1/4 to 1/2 lbs more than I would have without the ph.

So why was it not worth the extra 1/2lb of lbm over the cycle? The bottle of Ph said to take for 4 weeks. On day 22 I woke up that morning and took my normal leak. Only problem......It looked EXACTLY like I was pissing cranberry juice. That scared me right into my pct. Fortunately it cleared up in a few days back to normal and I feel pretty confident and lucky I didnt do any permanant damage. Maybe had i taken proper cycle support and been able to go the extra week I would have seen more benefits but I'll never know.

Moral of story? Dont be an idiot. Before taking ANY supplements do sufficient research. Dont just listen to the guy (who probally knows less than you do) at the supplement store. If youre under 25 youve got PLENTY of testosterone and dont need to go anywhere near phs. Even over 25 the risk isnt worth the benefits IMO.

Oh and the PH I used........Myogenix Spawn.
