View Full Version : Good Low Fiber High Energy Carb

I am a workout fanatic; I do weightlifting, wrestling, martial arts & running. I always have stuck to a high protein diet, but I feel I need more carbs to increase my energy. I have tried whole grains (whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bagels, etc), but they always have high fiber and I have a sensitive stomach and high fiber = a lot of time on the toilet. :) Does anyone have any suggestions of good foods for energy to put into my high protein diet that don't have high fiber. I am not picky so they don't have to be great tasting just decent enough that I don't go insane trying to eat them.

I wouldn't consider most anything other than vegetables as high fiber. Unless you're talking about things that specifically have fiber added (Fiber One, etc.). Just swap to more processed carbs if you don't want any fiber.

I highly dought that your stomach can't handle fiber. I think it is something else.
