View Full Version : Race to a 1300 lb total

I wanted to start a second 'total' race since there's quite a few poeple on here already over 1000 lbs. The rules will be similar to the 1000 lb race.

Applications will be taken untill *August 2nd* at midnight. After this date entrance will be closed and the actual race will begin. No timeline will be set for the actual race, simply put the first person to reach 1300 lbs wins.

There will be no weight classes, but to enter your total must not be more than 1225. I wanted to increase the gap to 75 instead of 50 pounds to hopefully make this last a little longer. I'm sure there's a few people that haven't tested their maxes in quite a while and could easily jump quite a few pounds right away.

All lifts must be raw, with the exception of belts only (and chalk of course). No wraps, no breifs, no suits, no shirts, no straps, etc.

To win, you must provide clear video evidence of all 3 lifts. You can post new maxes and update your total whenever you wish, but no winner will be announced untill they provide the 3 required videos. Feel free to post videos along the way as well if you please, it's always fun to watch members lift.

To enter state your big 3 and total. After June 30th I'll create an orderd list of everybody competing and will update it as often as I can. Feel free to post new maxes as often as you want.

If you have any suggestions as well, let me know.

Yeah... it took forever to post. Guessing this is the first day it got posted and he wrote it on the day above. The 1000 lb total took a long time, too.

I'm going back to my 1000 lb race. Screw you guys.

If I were bulking, I'd take you up on that race.. I'm cutting until I reach 8% bodyfat... probably gonna be 215ish bodyweight....

however, I'm going to start throwing some strength training in the mix as well so maybe I will take you up on that race.. what are your current numbers?

Bench 395
Squat 405
Deadlift 475

Those numbers are a bit old, but I have been cutting for the last month or so. I'm game when you are.

Looks like we hijacked the thread, **** it.. haha

We're really close on our numbers. You've got me on bench, I've got you on squat and deadlift but not by much.

I'm hitting up maxes this weekend so I'll post them later.

What's your bodyweight?

Wow lol, this only took like a month to get approved. I'll have to change the dates on stuff. Can probably start in a couple weeks if not many more poeple join in.

Bench: 350
Squat: 395
Deadlift: 475
Total: 1220

Ive got all these lifts on my youtube page. They are from early May and I've been cutting since so my total may be a little less or the same now. Fixing to start upping the calories back to maintanence and then go on a slow bulk in about a month so hopefully my numbers will increase. This should be a great motivational tool for me. Should be fun. Good luck everyone.

Wow. I totally forgot about this thread and contest. I haven't maxed on anything raw in a long while, though I know my bench is about the same. Deadlift might be slightly higher (~525?) and I did get a completely raw 415 squat back in August (probably the same now). That would put me at ~1255 right now if I went for it and actually got it on vid.
