Anyone ever done it? If so, is it effective? Just wondering.

This was the first lifting routine I ever did when I was 18 or so. It was a lot of fun. The two sets of 12 after working your way down to the 6 rep set was a killer. It seemed to be a routine for muscle growth, maybe leaning slightly towards aerobic lifting...

Regardless, I got 15 pounds heavier and a little stronger. Prob was I wasn't eating enough calories, so I stagnated after 3 months, go frustrated and then started my 6 years of lifting for 4 months, quitting for 2 or 3 months, etc.

What are your goals? Strength? Weight gain?
