Or wont be

Lets predict what the records will be in 2010:

Someone will squat 1300

The all time DL record will go up to 1020

The bench record will be 1150

No one will break Lamar Gants 132 dl or Eddys 198 or 220 dl records

Someone will bench 700 at 165

Big Iron and Westside will continue to push the bar higher!

George Halbert will break two all time records!

Those are a few of my hopes/predictions

Someone will break the strict curl record.

Anyone know what the record currently is? 315 yet?

It all depends on the direction of the gear, but I think that someone will break 3000 lbs this year or next at the latest.

2010 bone breaks will be common place cause gear will be so freaking crazy the body wont be able to handle it!!!!

That stems from seeing first hand Steve Greens arm break this past weekend with 725 on the bar. I was side spotting his left arm and was looking right at it when it snapped. Not a very good thing to see, it mentally messed with me the rest of the weekend!!!!

Wasn't he wearing a single ply shirt though? Not to take anything away from the seriousness of Steve's injury, I was extremely sorry to hear that had happened

I don't do very well in tight gear as it is so I'm not as concerned about it but one thing Lou is always on me about is laying the weight back on my wrist too far by bending them back. He's always after me to keep it over my forearms.

as for the records in 2010, beats me really. The way time flies it'll be here before we even know it

That I am not sure of!!!

2010 I'm sure Ryan will have the bench well over 1100 pounds and someone will have squatted over 1300 and I think the dead will not be real far from where it is now. And with all this the rest of us will be left scratching our head going How the Hell do we catch them? Ahh hell most of us are doing that now :)

squat will be in the mid 1300's
bench will be around 800 raw (1150 shirted)
deadlift will have no change.

he dropped 20lbs to do it and then put it back on for the meet. Not sure he could drop 35lbs and put it back on to bench 700.
if 700 does fall by a 165lb'er a guy 5'6" or shorter will do it. *cough Maza cough*

I predict 3000 will fall before 2009, Donnie and Andy are pushing each other there so quick, one of them will get it.

Either Benny or Bolton will break 1050 on the DL.

Someone will total 3,000.

I can easily see someone hitting a 700 bench in 165's, possibly even 148's by then with the way gear is going.

Joe Cesloksky has a damn good chance. If he moved up to a full 165, I don't think he'd have any problem and there's even a chance he could possibly get there or close@148. One of the cleanest all-time record lifts that have been done.
