Hello,

Im 18 years old. I take protein shakes after i work out. I was wondering if i should take those shakes even if i dont work out. im trying to bulk because im 170 lbs and 6.5% body fat.

YES! Your muscles grow on your off days so they NEED protein.

Ok thanks alot. Also should i start taking some creatine before i work out to make even bigger gains.

Depends. do you want to get cut or bulk. Creatine will add water weight and make you bloated.

Exactly like Shenker said you grow on your offdays.. that means protein and calories should be a big part of your diet everyday (assuming you want to gain weight). As for creatine.. I personally beleive that its good for cutting and bulking, it encourages lean muscle mass. In all honesty its something you should read about and if you decide you like what you read, you buy some and see how it works.
